For over 20 years we have specialized in appraising a wide range of commercial and residential properties including retail centers, office buildings, industrial buildings, apartment buildings and single family homes. We are simply a local firm that clients contact when experience and knowledge of the local real estate markets are not only desired, but essential for the assignment. Many of the largest banks and mortgage lenders use our firm. Although a large portion of our appraisal business includes appraisals and reviews for Banks and Mortgage Lenders, our firm has a concentrated focus on working with non-lender users for smaller properties including private parties, attorneys and estate planners. After starting an appraisal assignment, we work closely with the client to keep them informed about the appraisal process.

MAI Designation

Thomas C. Andersen is among the limited number of real estate appraisers holding the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institue. The Appraisal Institute is the profession’s most prestigious national association. The Institute’s MAI designation is awarded to professionals who have completed a rigorous education, peer review and passed testing requirements relating to the valuation of all classes of commercial real estate. The requirments for the MAI designation vastley exceeds the requiremnts to be a state certified appraiser.
